Recreation FAQ
Yes! We’re open year-round. After peak season winds down, we operate by appointment only—just give us a call to make arrangements.
You’ll park at our location. We’ll shuttle you upriver, and you’ll float back down to our property. Once you’re off the water, it’s a short walk back to your car.
During peak season, no reservation is needed—we’re open daily. In spring and fall, we’re staffed on weekends, but please call ahead for weekday visits. In colder months, appointments are required.
It’s a Class I–II river, typically a lazy float. On average, expect to travel about 1 mile per hour. Rainy days can speed things up, while dry spells may slow it down.
If you're kayaking, you can paddle to move faster. Some groups stop along the way, which can extend the trip.
